Who is a Virtuoso (ISTP)?

Virtuosos are individuals with the Introverted, Sensing, Thinking and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be tolerant, flexible and analytical people with an eye for detail. Known for their independence, virtuosos are often seen as observers who make decisions based on objective information, rather than personal beliefs.

Their primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Their secondary mode is external, where they take things in via their five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. These people have a compelling drive to understand the way things work. They're good at logical analysis, and like to use it on practical concerns. They typically have strong powers of reasoning, although they're not interested in theories or concepts unless they can see a practical application. They like to take things apart and see the way they work. Independent and strong willed, Virtuoso/Sagittarius personalities are all about going off the beaten path. Not afraid to step away from the pack, and a natural born leader who goes after what he or she wants, regardless of what other people think. They’re a born adventurer, and loves solo travel and exploration. They also loves exploring the inner workings of their minds, and love stretching their horizons through a good book or movie.

People who fall under Virtuoso/Sagittarius tend to be highly intelligent and need lots of mental stimulation to keep themselves motivated and happy. Their compassionate nature means that this can be something that they are good at teaching others to enjoy. They prefer to solve problems off the cuff; thinking about the best possible way that utilizes the least amount of effort. They are flexible and adaptable people who are comfortable with change, in fact, they enjoy it. They do not like traditional policies and procedures that they feel stifle them and often try to get around the rules to achieve higher efficiency. They prefer roles that require them to apply their analytical and logical thinking to solve a variety of practical problems. They tend to shy away from dealing with people’s emotions or personal problems, which they feel are unnecessary and tiring to deal with.

Virtuoso/Sagittarius lovers can be very intense and attentive, generously planning special things just to please their beloved. They dream of big futures and openly discuss plans of the future. It is very easy to fall head over heels for them as their openness over what exactly they see you and them doing in the future can be a refreshing change from combo’s privacy issues. This openness comes only once they are fully sure of their feelings and the match itself. Until then, they are sexily elusive and keep you guessing. Early in dating, people with the Virtuoso/Sagittarius personality type can be especially flighty – they live in the present, always looking for new activities and experiences. If a potential partner doesn’t measure up, they have no real problem walking away. They also need a great deal of personal space, both physically and mentally, and any attempts to control them or forcibly schedule their activities only accelerates their departure.
