INFJ / Taurus
Who is an Advocate (INFJ)?
Advocates are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Judging personality traits. They tend to be gentle, complex and intuitive people who enjoy expressing themselves both artistically and creatively. Highly observant of their surroundings, advocates are extremely skillful at reading and understanding other people.
Advocate/Taurus are deeply instinctual. They can sense things others may breeze past. For authentic Advocate/Taurus, this means they’re able to sniff out lies and deceptive behavior going on in front of them. They “just know” when a person or situation seems disingenuous, and finds it difficult to shake these gut feelings. So good luck throwing them a surprise party. They’re as genuinely warm as they are complex. They hold a special place in the heart of people who they are close to, who are able to see their special gifts and depth of caring. They are concerned for people's feelings, and try to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. Situations which are charged with conflict may drive the normally peaceful Advocate/Taurus into a state of agitation or charged anger. They may tend to internalize conflict into their bodies, and experience health problems when under a lot of stress.
They are planned and like things to be scheduled. Although they can accept changes that have a clear rationale, they tend to be uncomfortable with people who seem to be careless with their tasks and wing it. They deem such behaviour irresponsibility and apathy. Under stress, their Sensing may come out in an undeveloped or a childish manner. They may become overindulgent with material pleasures like overeating, too much video games or too much shopping. These people tend to enjoy the sensual pleasures of life, anything physical will generally make them happy, and this extends to any kind of food, drink, or entertainment - anything that they can absorb with all of their senses. They often have great taste as well and a deep appreciation for finer things. Sometimes their connection to the material world can make them a bit possessive - with both people and things. Being naturally patient people, it takes a lot to make a Advocate/ Taurus angry, but when they are, be sure to stand back as far as you can. They are rather fierce and protective when they are pushed too far and too fast.
To recognize their love for you, be conscious of the time that they are setting aside to spend with you – this is their main method of expressing devotion. If they flatter or compliment you, take their words at face value – they have likely been thought out carefully and are meant sincerely. Lastly, accept and reciprocate their acts of physical affection! This type isn’t open to hugs or touches from just anyone, so if they’re being affectionate with you, it’s their way of saying ‘I love you.’ With an Advocate/Taurus it may be a slower paced courtship than other personality combos at first. The foundation will take time to set. They usually take their time declaring their love, and the need to make sure of their feelings and the other person is quite strong. This is a good thing, as it ensures a high level of integrity. When they tell you that they love you, you can rest assured that they mean it.
