ENTP / Pisces
Who is a Debater (ENTP)?
Debaters are individuals with the Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be analytical, adaptable and enthusiastic people with excellent people skills. Being visionaries, debaters greatly value knowledge, and spend much of their time seeking a higher understanding of life.
Describing a Debater/Pisces’ personality can be difficult because they tend to evade distinction. Their behavior changes significantly based on who they’re around. Excellent communicators and great att mirroring the people around them, they intuitively read the room and have a way of getting what they came for. Their primary interest in life is understanding the world that they live in. They are constantly absorbing ideas and images about the situations they are presented in their lives. Using their intuition to process this information, they are usually extremely quick and accurate in their ability to size up a situation. They have a deeper understanding of their environment than any of the other types. This ability to intuitively understand people and situations put them at a distinct advantage in their lives. They generally understand things quickly and with great depth. Accordingly, they are quite flexible and adapt well to a wide range of tasks. They are good at most anything that interests them. As they grow and further develop their intuitive abilities and insights, they become very aware of possibilities, and this makes them quite resourceful when solving problems.
Debater/Pisces are idea people. Their perceptive abilities cause them to see possibilities everywhere. They get excited and enthusiastic about their ideas, and are able to spread their enthusiasm to others. In this way, they get the support that they need to fulfill their visions. Their auxiliary process of Introverted Thinking drives their decision making process. Although they’re more interested in absorbing information than in making decisions, they are quite rational and logical in reaching conclusions. When they apply Thinking to their Intuitive perceptions, the outcome can be very powerful indeed. A well-developed Debater/Pisces is extremely visionary, inventive, and enterprising.
Being spontaneous and playful, they’re not the best people to establish any form of structure in the household. They simply won’t. They are far more happy being the handyman of the house – fixing the light bulbs, cooking the meals and doing the plumbing work. However, they don’t like to be pressured or nagged into doing these tasks. They want to do it, yes, but in their own time. Sometimes, something new comes along as well and catches their attention. This may cause them not to follow through on certain tasks and frustrate their partners. With money, they tend to adopt a spend-as-youearn mentality. They don’t believe that money is earned so that it can be stored somewhere for an unknown need in the future. To them, money is a tool for them to live out life’s experience to the fullest, so they may spend money impulsively on a whim. They love to use their money to show their extravagant love to their partners with an expensive gift or two. This behaviour may frustrate or stress out their partners who find it hard to plan for a future. It can initially be difficult to get to know a Debater/Pisces because they are quite introspective and closed off. They need a lot of patience; one has to give them time and space to work through their own feelings. They may find it difficult to deal with the more practical aspects of a relationship, trivial details not being their strong suit. Some partners may believe that they are being distant, when they are simply enjoying being with themselves and their own inner world.
They may not be able to remember the objective facts of a situation, but they can remember the emotion they were feeling at the time. They may not be able to recite every US president from memory, but they somehow know how you feel before you do. Their irrational intelligence can sometimes be misconstrued as psychic ability. It’s really not some kind of supernatural power, but a sensitivity to the emotional information that lingers outside of most people’s window of perception.
