Architect (INTJ) - PISCES

Who is an Architect (INTJ)?

Architects are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking and Judging personality traits. They tend to be intelligent and competent people with high expectations on both themselves and people around them. Being independent thinkers, architects are often viewed as effective problem solvers.

This personality is typically reserved and serious, and seem to spend a lot of time thinking. They are curious about the world around them and often want to know the principle behind what they see. They thoroughly examine the information they receive, and if asked a question, will typically consider it at length before presenting a careful, complex answer. They are friendly and selfless and generally more intuitive and emotionally connected than other Architect types. They often have an idea about how to do something more efficiently and can come off as blunt in their presentation. They are know for their wisdom, but can sometimes take on the role of a martyr, feeling misunderstood. They don’t take criticism very well and will often turn that inwards and become more closed off.

For an Architect, the Pisces combination will make them more romantic at heart when it comes to relationships. They will still make their pros and cons lists to make sure they make the right decision before giving their hearts away, but they will often fantasize about the perfect outcome. Deeply intelligent they have a profound respect for the human mind. They are sensitive and don’t enjoy large groups of people, but thrive in smaller groups where their intelligence will come to play in long, sometimes complicated discussions. They rarely feel lonely when by themselves as they have an active imagination and live as much in their own minds as in the physical world. They believe that a new idea isn’t worth anything unless it actually works. Architect/Pisces want to be successful, not just inventive. They bring a single-minded drive to their passion projects, applying the full force of their insight, logic, creativity and willpower. And heaven help anyone who tries to slow them down by enforcing pointless rules or offering poorly thought-out criticism.

In romantic relationships they are very sensitive, deep feeling beings. If they’ve let you in, they trust like no other and you’d be wise not to dishonor that trust. If betrayed the dragon in Game of Thrones will seem like a puppy in comparison and they will hold on to perceived hurts for a long time. They fall hard and will go out of their way to come up with thoughtful gifts and surprises to show how much they care.

The Architect/Pisces have an extremely strong sense of right and wrong. Their moral compass guides them well and they are great people to ask for advice on pretty much anything. You can be sure that they have taken a great deal of time to think about the answer before giving it to you. They can be single-minded, with little patience for frivolity, distractions, or idle gossip. That said, it would be a mistake to stereotype these personalities as dull or humorless. Many are known for their irreverent wit, and beneath their serious exteriors, they often have a sharp, delightfully sarcastic sense of humor.
